Sometimes finding help can be as easy as visiting your local library.
Thanks to our partners at Mid-Continent Public Library, we’ve set up physical kiosks at their Grandview + Buckner locations, making it easy for anyone to discreetly pick up a resource kit during their visit.
When visitors stop by our library kiosks, they can also fill out an anonymous survey (the Social Needs Screening Tool from the American Academy of Family Physicians) indicating what they need help with. This helps us know where additional support is needed in our community, allowing us to focus future programs, resources, and other outreach efforts where they can help the most.

No, you can access the resource guides on this webpage. If you’re a Buckner or Grandview resident, you may choose to visit your local library to receive a physical copy of the resource guide and a resource kit. While it’s not required to receive help, we do request that visitors fill out our anonymous screening tool (survey) at the kiosk to help us determine where extra support is needed in the community.

Our screening tool is HIPAA compliant and your responses will not be associated with your name or contact information. We may use these anonymous responses to help us determine where more support and resources are needed across the Eastern Jackson County community.
