The Communications Specialist supports the health department’s ongoing initiatives and operations through extensive communications, graphical design, and marketing support. This position will also design and implement risk communication strategies in response to and in preparation for major public health events, disasters, and matters of urgency.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university in public health, health promotion/education, or other closely related field. This team is critical in minimizing disease transmission and slowing outbreak progression in the community.
